Casa Carmen
A beautifully situated, friendly chalet in the upper ring of the picturesque village Carrazedo. From its large veranda you have a panoramic view of a Toscan landscape of mountains and valleys. Peace and quiet, nature, space, scenic routes and unforgettable sunsets, if that's what you are looking for, Casa Carmen is your spot!
Surroundings
The surroundings are characterised by authentic villages as Agra, Vila Boa, Rio Ave, the wild Serra da Cabreira etc. The scenic area is a dreamland for hikers, ramblers and walkers. The nearby Ermal reservoir offers small scale watersports facilities such as sailing, rowing, canoeing, cycling by pedal boat. and waterskiing. And of course you can sunbathe on the beach or go for a swim. At a 20 minutes' drive you also find the beautiful outdoor swimming pool of Vieira do Minho as well as a Lidl. At even a shorter distance you can enjoy the colourful Monday morning market of Cabeceiras de Basto. This little town is the regional centre with a post office and plenty of banks, restaurants and shops.
Facilities
Living room with open kitchen and open fire place, CV in winter, sofa, radio/CD, TV/DVD. Two bedrooms each with its own bathroom: Double-bedded room with shower and toilet. And a bedroom for three persons with double bed, single bed, washing machine, bath and toilet.
An excellent dinner with famous Portuguese dishes you can enjoy at Casa da Cabreira (at a 10 minute walk away, reservation one day in advance)
In 2011 just available until the end of November and during Christmas Holiday, in 2012 only from the end of March!
